Please welcome the latest monthly addition to the blog!
Every month, we will compile our favourites at the time. In April, we are focusing on our online favourites, ranging from social media accounts, blogs and online shops.
Have you been heard of Cold War Kids? This American indie rock band has been making music since 2004 and recently released their sixth album, L.A. Divine.
Here is a SoundCloud-playlist (you’re welcome):
Instagram-user “jaboukie” has been making my day for many days now. With the bio “jaboukie young-white – irl/url comedian”, his captions are mini works of literature. My personal favourite: “blood work just came back and… i have stage 11 fleek eyebrows. it’s very contagious (hundreds will be slayed) & there is no cure… i will die on fleek :/”.
Favourite online shop:
If you have been reading the blog, you will know all about Retro Panda. Selling life-changing vintage clothes through her Facebook-page, she will always be one of our faves. Currently gallivanting in Europe, we cannot wait to see what she returns with!
Favourite music video:
Another music-related favourite: the music video of “Love is Alive” by Louis The Child is pure art. This Chicago-based music duo consists of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett.

This one is more specifically aimed at Stellenbosch. Die Matie, the university’s campus newspaper, recently launched their mobile app. It is updated throughout the day to keep students informed of campus, national and global news. Download it now to stand a chance of winning tickets for Justin Bieber, The Vamps or The Lumineers!
One of my latest interests (some people might call it an obsession – I hope none of those people are here) is walking the Camino in Spain. After spending many hours aimlessly searching around for information and guidance on this trip, I found the blog, Living The Camino, which will most probably become my best friend for the next few months in my process of planning and preparing for this incredible experience.
Overwhelmed by the incredible winter fashion inspiration on Pinterest, I have created a board to organise all my winter wardrobe dreams. Instead of posting hundreds of links to all my favourite Pinterests, here is my Winter Mood board: (Self-promotion? Don’t relate.)
